added Bandai Omake figures and mini figures

This page is a reference guide for some of the many preassembled and prepainted figurines made for Sailor Moon. Most of the items on this page were produced for the Japanese market by Bandia, Banpresto and Yukata. There are also some figures from Bandia Asia shown in the petit soldier section and some Irwin figures in the 'cute' figure section. This is only a fraction of the items that were made. If you have information or pictures of additional figurines and would like to include your information on this page, please let me know qserenity@socketis.net.

Please note that none of the items on this page are for sale. Also, please do not use any pictures with asking permission.

Bandai Figures

 Sailormoon R 'Cute' figures

These are really cute little 2" figures produced in Japan during 1993. They include Usagi, Naru, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Tuxedo Mask, Princess Serenity, Prince Endymion, ChibiUsa, Luna and Artemis (cats pictured on Luna page). These have also been produced for Asia, Europe, Canada and can be found in a smaller version. Bandai Asia and Irwin of Canada have also produced a Super Sailormoon, ChibiMoon, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Saturn in the 2" size. Totally cute, readily available, a must get item.

 Sailormoon R mini figures

These little figures are about one inch tall and have suction cups on the back of their heads. This set includes Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. Although the set shown is from Bandia Asia, there was a set made by Bandia Japan in 1993.

 Sailormoon R (1993) and S (1994) Excellent Team Series

These are 45cm to 48cm vinyl figurines produced for the Japanese Market. The R series of figures, include Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. Each figure comes with a clear plastic stand and a gold "credit type card" listing the number of each figure from the series.

A second set of vinyls were released in 1994. These figures are the same size and included Super Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Venus. These figures come with a waist gripping stand and "gold credit type card".

 Sailormoon S (1994) Excellent M Series

Also in 1994, four additional vinyls were release for the Japanese Market. These are not as high of quality of the 45cm figures, but are very nice. A total of 4 figures were produced, including Moon, Neptune and Uranus (approximately 14 inches tall) and ChibiMoon (approximately 9" tall). They each come with a waist gripping stand, but no collector's card.

To see a picture of each figure in box, click on the name. Sailor Moon , ChibiMoon , Uranus and Neptune.

Sailor Moon Excellent Team Petit Soldier

These are the 5" model/action figures with movable arms. Each figure comes with a stand, card and several with appropriate wand. These figures were made for the R and S seasons. Moon was also made for SuperS and Sailor Stars. The "Lights" were also produced for the Japanese Market. Boxed and carded copies of these figures have been produced for the Asian and European markets, as well as numerous bootlegs of these figures. To date, no Sailor Saturn or Tuxedo Mask figures have shown up.

 Sailormoon S figure

This figure is like the Omake figures, but instead of cloth costumes, she has snap on clothes like the Pachi Pachi figures. Moon stands aproximately 4" tall. Bandia Japan 1994

 Sailormoon S figure set

Really cute little figures from Sailormoon S, 1994. This set includes Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. The box they come in makes into a little house. Included is furniture, including a little stereo system. The figures are around 1 1/2" tall.

 Sailormoon S figures

These are really cute little 3 1/2" figures, made for the Japanese market. Produced in 1994. There were two sets of the figures produced. The first set included Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Luna and Artemis. The second set included Super Sailormoon, Sailor Chibimoon, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. These figures came packaged in little plastic bags and included a wand, stand and small pamphlet.

 Sailormoon SuperS Pachi Pachi figures

Another set of cute figures, these figures are approximately 3" tall. Each comes with their fighting Fuku and party outfit. The clothes snap together, over the figure. These figures have been released in Japan, Asia, Europe and Canada. Lots of fun, my daughter recommends these. Included are Super Sailormoon, Super Chibimoon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Tuxedo Mask.

 Sailormoon SuperS Omake figures

These figures are 4" tall, with cloth outfits and snap on gloves and boots. Moon comes with her wand, and the other senshi come with their transformation wands. Although I haven't opened any of these figures, it sounds like their is candy in the box. This set inlcudes Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. There is a Super Sailor Chibimoon to the set, but I don't have her. The second set of dolls are also from SuperS, before the inner senshi power ups. The packaging isn't as nice. Other Omake dolls:

Stars set includes Eternal Moon, Pluto, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn

 Sailormoon SuperS Capsule figures

These are really nicely detailed figures that are approximately 3" tall. Each figure comes in 3 pieces, legs, body and bow, that snap together. The figures also come with their own stand.

 Sailormoon R Usagi figure

This is a great 4" figure of Usagi in her school uniform. She comes with a clear plastic stand and some sweet tart type candie. I guess she is an earlier version of the above omake figures. There were a number of figures made for this set, including ChibiUsa, Sailor Pluto, Sailors Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. I wonder if they made Moon, too. I have heard rumors that there was a serenity figure made as well, but I don't know if it was Princess, Queen or Neo-Queen.

 Sailor Stars Eternal Moon figure

Made by Bandai Japan in 1996, this is a 12" figure of Eternal Moon. She comes with a stand, has detachable wings and bow. There were also 12" figures of the Starlights made as well.

 Sailormoon SuperS, Pegasus.

This is an eight" tall figure of Helios, the Pegasus which talks to ChibiUsa. Brushable mane and tail, Bandai Japan released this figure in 1995.

 Sailormoon SuperS

Okay, these weren't actually packaged as figures. They are part of the Stallion Reve roleplaying toy. Lift the lid and there are little 1" figures of the inner senshi, Super Chibimoon and Pegasus. Made by Bandai Japan in 1995.

 Sailormoon S Mini-figures and Coach

Cute set of five 1 1/4" mini-figures. There were two moon and no Venus. The side of the box shows 3 other coaches, so I am guessing that there are 3 other figure set. This set is labeled #2

Sailormoon S Omake figure

Sailormoon S Romantic Heroine figure. This is a great 4" figure w/stand and wand. The set includes Super Sailormoon, Sailor Chibimoon, Uranus and Neptune.

 Sailormoon S Omake figure

This is another set of 4" figures by Bandai. From the S series, it includes Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus and Neptune. No wand, but there is a stand.

 Sailormoon first season Omake figure

This is a neat little 4" figure. During the first season of the show, there were three figures made for this set, Moon, Mercury and Mars. Each comes with changable outfit. Not as nice as the Romantic Heroine series, but very cute.

 Sailormoon R figure set

This is a great set of figures. Made by Bandai Japan in 1993, the set includes all five inner senshi. These figures are 5 inches tall and have movable arms and waist. The paint job is not as detailed as the petit soldiers, but it is a really neat set. Thank you Naoki.

Yukata Figures

Sailormoon S (1994) figurial pendant set

The figures are approximately 2" tall and include all of the Senshi, except Sailor Saturn. Very cute set. There was also a set made for R, which included an individual Luna and Artemis. I don't know if sets were made for other seasons.

Finger Puppets

Kind of cheesey, but cute, there were quite a few finger puppets mad e. Those marketed in Japan are approximately 2" tall. The set pictured are probably Taiwanese and are a little over an inch tall. The set included Pluto and Neo-Queen Serenity so I had to get it.

Sailor Star light up figures (figures of clear plastic, approximately 5" tall). Very detailed figures of Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. Batteries not included, each character gives off a different color of light.

Sailormoon S Toru figures (approximately 4" tall). Thanks to Avenue, I now have the complete set of these figures. Included are Moon, Jupiter, Neptune, Mercury, Pluto, Mars, Uranus, and ChibiMoon, Venus.
