This was the last season that the
showed aired in Japan (1996). I guess that there was a drop in
ratings and sales of merchandies. The gimack for the dolls this
season were "quick-change" outfits or henshin outfits.
Sadly, the extra outfits were not very attractive. The dolls were
10 1/2" tall (Outer senshi 10" tall, Saturn 8"
tall). They were made with the usual hollow bodies, legs and arms.
I guess in an extra effort to cut cost, they decided to go with
felt bows for the fukus, which are a little cheesie.

The excellent pose dolls
were quite unique and it is ashame that Bandai didn't go ahead
and produce the other Sailor Scouts in this form. Twist-n-turn
was, solid poseable legs and arms. The only problem was with Moon's
face mold. It was just a bit to grown up looking. Okay, I know
I said I would never purchase the Starlight dolls, but it is a
collection of dolls and they are from Sailormoon, so.......

Okay, they aren't fashion
dolls, but they are dolls. The 6" dream pocket series was
extremely well done. Highly poseable, cute faces. These dolls
are worth picking up.
