Sailormoon was an extremely popular
show in Japan. A number of live stage musical shows were produced
per season of the show. The Sailormoon World Dolls series were
initally produced based on the costumes from the Star Season Muscial.
Bandai made a set of 11 inch dolls for the main senshi and also
released an individual Eternal Sailormoon. These dolls are also
made with the hollow bodies, arms and legs and use the SuperS
face molds. Additionally the hair on the Mercury is cut very nicely
and Venus has long hair with the front pulled back and not the
standard ponytail. Bandai also continued production of its Dream
Pocket size Sailormoon dolls for the Musical with an Eternal Moon,
Super ChibiMoon and boxed sets of the inner and outer senshi.
Bandai also made several outfits for the Dream Pockets.
Additionally, Sailormoon started
reairing in Japan and Bandai has begun to rerelease a number of
items, under the Sailormoon World Logo. Dollwise, they have released
the Original 5 senshi in Dream Pocket size. This dolls are really
cute and inaddition to their shiney new fukus, they come with
their correct school uniforms and lots of little accessories.
