Giochi Preziosi
was the Italian company that got the merchandising rights from
Bandai to make Sailormoon dolls. These dolls are much more like
"Barbie" in make-up. The legs are bendable, solid arms,
Twist-n-turn waist, petit feet, overall really nice dolls. The
dolls measure 11". There were a number of dolls released
in Italy. I have the basic set from Sailormoon S and the Sailor
Stars series here. Also shown are the SuperS SuperS Moon and
Chibimoon (both 11" tall). Additionally I have the Princess
Serenity and Dancing Princess dolls, because the are soooo pretty.
In addition to
the dolls shown, there was a Sailormoon from R, a smaller version
of Chibimoon in a box set with Pegasus, talking Sailormoon, Super
Sailormoon and Super Chibimoon, and several boxed set of Sailormoon
with other items. There is also a line of clothing, which includes
5 dressier fighting fukus and six wedding/ballgown dresses. The
cards for the ballgowns are huge, at least 12" by 18".
I will try to get around to scanning these soon.
